The Mortgage Broking Industry can be a very rewarding career and profession if you are a motivated and determined individual. To become a Mortgage Broker in Australia, you will need a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking as a minimum requirement. While a Diploma is not a requirement for licensing, many lenders and organisations within the industry prefer brokers to have (or be working towards) this qualification in addition to their Certificate IV.

In addition to the above certificates and qualifications, you are also required to have a minimum of 2 years mentoring within the Finance or Banking Industry (Subject to Industry evaluation).
